Documents Required

All Prospective applicants must prepare the following supporting documents (for each family member) and attach it to the application forms (TBP) in original/certified copies (two)

  1. Passport: A certified color copy of the bio-data page of each applicable) valid passport is required. passport, the relevant pages must also be included.
  1. ID Card: Submit a certified color copy of all national ID cards and government-
    license, residence card) for each applicant and benefactor (if applicable).
  2. Birth Certificate: Submit two certified copies of the birth certificate (or an equivalent document) for each applicant, showing birth details and the names of both parents.
  3. Name Change Documentation (if applicable): Submit two certified copies of a document proving the name change (e.g., statutory declaration, deed poll, adoption papers) if the name has changed, other than by marriage.
  4. Marriage Certificate (if applicable): All married applicants must submit a certified copy of their legalized marriage certificate, even if the spouse is not included.
  5. De Facto Partnership (if applicable): If a de facto partner is included in the Application, the de facto relationship must be proven. The following documents can serve as proof: joint bank account statements, joint lease or property ownership documents, official correspondence addressed to both individuals at the same address, partners as parents, and photographs or invitations showing both partners participating together in family or social events, holidays, etc. Additionally, affidavits from both partners confirming the relationship are required.
  6. Divorce Certificate (if applicable): All divorced applicants must submit a certified copy of their divorce certificate.
  7. Certificate (if applicable): If an applicant has a deceased spouse, submit a certified colour copy
  8. HIV Test Result: An original HIV test result, signed (and stamped, if applicable) by lab staff, is required for each applicant aged 12 and above. The test result must not be older than three months.
  9. Military Records (if applicable): Submit a certified copy of military records for any applicant who has served in the armed forces.
  10. Police Clearance Certificate(s): Police clearance certificates (PCCs) are required for all applicants aged 18 and above. PCCs must be provided from each country of citizenship and any country where the person has lived for six months or more in the last 10 years. All PCCs must be original and issued within six months of submission, unless otherwise stated.
  11. Proof of Residential Address: The principal applicant, benefactor (if applicable), and each applicant aged 18 and above not residing at the same address must submit an original or certified copy of a document proving their residential address. Accepted documents include a recent utility bill (excluding mobile bills, which will not be accepted), title deed, lease agreement, bank statement, or written confirmation from a bank, attorney, chartered accountant, or Name and address. The proof must match the information in the Application and be no more than three months old at the time of submission.
  12. Proof of Source of Funds and Income: The principal applicant and benefactor (if applicable) are required to provide documentation that will support statements in their Form 1 and Form 3. The documents should be provided in their original or certified true copy of original format, as applicable.

14. Custody or Legal Guardianship Records (if applicable):

If a qualifying dependent aged 17 or below is included but neither parent/legal guardian is applying, a notarized or certified copy of custody or guardianship records must be provided. If the document is issued by any of the countries listed in section 3.1.2., it must be authenticated before making a certified true copy. In addition, the non-accompanying parent/legal guardian must submit an non-accompanying parent(s) for minor

  • Affidavit of a Non- Accompanying Parent(s) for Minor Applicants (if applicable):
    If the principal applicant includes a qualifying dependent aged 17 or below but guardian(s), proof of full custody or an original affidavit from each non- accompanying parent/legal guardian is required. The affidavit must confirm:
    applicant and minor dependent of the Application
    each child for whom they have custody rights in the file to apply for Nauru citizenship
    Note: A certified color copy of each non- passport bio-data page, bearing their signature, must be attached to the affidavit.
  • Affidavit of Support for Adult Dependents (if applicable):
    The principal applicant must provide an original affidavit of support for each dependent aged 18 and above (excluding the spouse). The affidavit must be submitted in its original format. Additional supporting documentation may be required by the Program Office.
  • Affidavit of Names (if applicable):
    civil documents due to a spelling variation or any reason other than an official name change, an affidavit confirming their full name (first, middle, and last) and explaining discrepancies is required. The affidavit must be submitted in its original format.
  • Affidavit of Support of Application (if applicable):
    If a benefactor is paying the contribution and fees for the application, they must submit an affidavit confirming this. The affidavit must confirm their relationship with the Principal Applicant and source of funds for this acquisition.
  • Other Supporting Documents (if applicable or required):
    Include any further documents as evidence, explanation, or otherwise in support of any of the answers given or statements made on the forms.
